Erin is a vinyasa-based yoga instructor with a background in dance, as well as an extensive academic background in biology (B.S. from Boston College) including coursework in human physiology. She received her 200-hour certification from Ume Yoga in Oakland, California under the instruction of Gabrielle Williams and Jill Lindsay, as well as other Ume faculty. and She turns to yoga, and asana in particular, to ground herself in a moving meditation that gets her out of her head and into the body. This is the same experience she seeks to create in her classes, along with a visceral sense of strength and ease, comfort and challenge. Erin lives in Alameda, California.
